Paint Your Own Piece Workshop:

Find a small piece of furniture that you would like to transform. A small table, chair, shelf, or a couple of drawers from a small bureau are ideal. You must be able to carry the piece into the shop by yourself. We will guide you through the process of prepping, painting and finishing your piece. You will receive a pint of mudpaint or milk paint along with sanding sponges and access to any finishing wax, oil or clear coat that you choose to finish your piece. You will be able to choose the look you want from smooth and sleek, slightly distressed to shabby chic and chippy. The options are endless. You will leave with the confidence to tackle your next project and feel the satisfaction of repurposing a piece of furniture you were tempted to give away. You can expect to spend 3-5 hours depending on your project.  In this workshop, you will receive: a pint of Mudpaint or Milk Paint (the leftover paint is your to take home with you); two sanding sponges; use of finishing products, rags, brushes etc.

Milk & Mud Mason Jar Centerpiece Workshop:

You learn to work with both Milk Paint and Mudpaint in this workshop. Participants pick their color scheme from an endless number of options. You get to decide how you want your finished piece to look...distressed, shabby chic, or smooth and sleek. We will teach you how to mix and apply milk paint and mudpaint as well as how to complete many distressing and finishing techniques.  Your beautiful creation will include a wood crate and four quart-sized Mason jars.  You can expect to spend 3-4 hours perfecting your centerpiece.
